Creating, Targeting and Publishing Micro Info Sessions
Quinncia allows you to post pre-recorded video content, company overviews, and custom call-to-action buttons that students can access on demand.
Watch this short video or follow this step-by-step guide to build your content, target it to specific student demographics, and publish to students.
Step 1: Open the Content Creator
- From your main employer dashboard, click the + Create New Micro-Info Session tile.
- You can have up to 5 active pieces of content at any one time.
- If a system message regarding active limits pops up at the top of your screen, simply click Hide to clear your workspace view and work on your draft.
Step 2: Input Title and Description
On the Create Info Session tab, define the messaging for your content:
- Add Title: Give your content an engaging, relevant title (e.g., Hear from our interns).
- Add Description: Write a short blurb explaining what this content covers (e.g., your company culture, a team spotlight, or advice for your screening process).
Step 3: Embed or Upload Your Video Asset
You can share your video content in two ways:
- Upload a File: Drag and drop your video file directly into the tile, or click browse your files (Supports .mp4, .mov, .avi, .wmv, and .m4v up to 500MB).
- Or Add Link to Video: Paste a direct YouTube or Vimeo link into the text box to instantly embed an existing video.
Step 4: Build Your Interactive Custom Links
Direct students toward your external hiring page, career sites, or cultural pages by setting up interactive buttons:
- Click the + ADD BUTTON LINKS button to open the link editor.
- Primary Button (Required): Paste your primary destination URL (e.g., your company's "About Us" page) into the Website Address slot. Click the Choose Button Name dropdown to select a preset label or click Add custom name to create your own text.
- Secondary Button (Optional): Add a secondary URL path (e.g., your internal team portal) and select or create an appropriate button name (e.g., Learn More).
- Click SAVE BUTTON LINKS to attach them to your content.
Step 5: Choose Display Dates
Before you target your audience, you must define when your content will live on the platform from the Info Session details tab:
- Publish Date: Select the date you want this content card to drop into student feeds.
- Expiration Date: Open the interactive calendar view to define when the content should automatically be taken down. If no date is selected, the content will remain active until you remove it.
- Preview Check: Feel free to toggle between the Post Preview and Analyze Page Preview tabs to double-check formatting and see how your info session will appear to students. Click Continue when finished.
Step 6: Target Your Audience (Sharing Details)
After clicking Continue, you will proceed to the Sharing details screen. This is where you prioritize who sees your content:
- Choose University: Click the dropdown to select which university campuses will have visibility into your content. You can select individual target schools or all the universities you are partnered with.
- Target Student Population: Select All Majors if the video is a general overview, or check specific fields of study so the video populates for relevant student cohorts.
- Communicate Preferences: Under the Post To and Additional Options checkboxes, check the boxes for Undergraduate or Graduate populations. Toggle your preferences for relocation and visa sponsorship so students know upfront what your hiring criteria are when they interact with your content.
- Skill Tagging: Select up to 5 Essential Skills and search for required Technical Skills (like Canva, Figma, or Excel). Quinncia uses these tags to automatically recommend your content to students whose analyzed resumes match your criteria.
Step 7: Finalize and Publish
- Review your completely assembled content on the layout builder, look for the Ready to continue status checkmark at the bottom right, and click Continue.
- Ensure dates and target universities are correct.
- Toggle between the Post Preview and Analyze Page Preview tabs to double-check formatting and watch your video asset.
- Click PUBLISH INFO SESSION at the bottom of the screen to push the content live to your targeted student network.
💡 Content Strategy Tip: If you aren't ready to release this specific content yet, click SAVE AS DRAFT at the bottom of the page to save your progress and finish adjusting your content later.
